SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Members and Friends:

Are you looking for a new challenge, new training, financial help with your goals?

The WOMEN IN AVIATION, INT’L – 2016 SCHOLARSHIPS are published and ready for you to apply!

Here’s the scoop:  Go to www.wai.org and click on the Scholarships tab on the top row.

Look through the 100+ scholarships offered (more will be added, so keep looking).

Then:  Choose 1 or 2 that you want to apply for.

Read the directions thoroughly and follow them precisely in preparing your applications.

Start now – it takes time to write essays, get letters of recommendation, and gather all the materials for each application.

Check and double-check that your applications are complete, signed and copied.

Extra help is available – Let us know if you would like another set of eyes review your applications and give feedback.  (Note the exception: We cannot review an app if you are applying for one of the scholarships given by our Washington State Chapter.)

Due Date:   Scholarship applications must be postmarked by November 16, 2015.

Please note:  You must be a current Women in Aviation, Int’l member to apply for scholarships.

You can join WAI on the website, or send a note back and I’ll help you get signed up.

Have fun reading all the cool scholarships that are available, and jump in. You can do it!

As Grandma used to say, “Nothing ventured, nothing gained.”

So dream big and go for it!

Good luck – and be sure to ask for help if needed.
